The many friends of Miss Romema Smith were pained to learn of her sudden death on Monday. To all appearance she was as well as usual. She helped her mother about the house, ate a hearty dinner and after the work was done, went into the sitting room and sat down. In a few minutes, she fell to the floor dead. She was the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Silas Smith of East Line, former residents of this place. Miss Smith had a most loveable disposition and had many friends. Besides her parents she is survived by one sister, Mrs Irving Reed of Grooms, three brothers, Alexander, Roy and Wellington of East Line, who have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends. Her remains were brought to Crescent Thursday afternoon and interred in the Union Cemetery.
