Micah's Family

Micah Hegeman was the son of John Hegeman and Eve Johnson (Eve a descendant of Hezekiah Rogers Jr & Hannah Vincent).

Micah was married twice, first to Lydia Dennie in 1856 and worked as a farmer & tanner.  After nearly 20 years of marriage, Lydia died in Jan 1872.

Later that year, he sold the farm, opened a meat shop and married Julia Abel.

His second wife was Julia Abel, ironically, she was born the year Micah married his first wife - the relationship wouldn't have been legal today.
