an earlier post. He married Lena A
Taylor in 1898.

Walter Dixon Rites Set For Friday; Was Sunday School Head
Johnstown - Walter Dixon, 112 Byard Street, died yesterday afternoon at 1:55 at his home. He suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Thursday. He was born April 17, 1878, in Mayfield and lived most of his life in Johnstown. He was the son of William and Antoinette Roberts Dixon. His wife, Lena A Taylor Dixon, died April 4, 1950. He had been employed as night manager of the Atlantic Gas Station, Perry and main streets for many years. He spent 50 years in the grocery business. Dixon served as superintendent of the Methodist Church Sunday School and was a charter member of the Chorus Club. He leaves a daughter, Mrs Myron Waldo of Johnstown, three grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Ferndale Cemetery following services at the A G Cole Funeral Home, Friday at 3 pm. Rev Charles Schwartz of the Methodist Church officiating.

Lena A Dixon Dies At Home
Mrs Lena A Dixon, 69, wife of Walter Dixon, died yesterday afternoon at 5:30 at her home, 14 Spring Street. She had been seriously ill the past two months. Born in Middlefield Center, Otsego County, September 25, 1880, daughter of Samuel and Ann W (Graham) Taylor, she had resided here for about 65 years. She was united in marriage to Mr Dixon October 12, 1898 in this city by the late Rev T G Thompson, Methodist minister. Mrs Dixon was a member of the Methodist Church, treasurer of the Senior Philathea Class of that church, a member of the church choir and was assistant courier of the Sunday School. She was also a charter member of Cameron Temple, 50, Pythian Sisters and a member of St Monica Chapter, 486, OES, in which she formerly held office. Mrs Dixon was active in the work of her church and the organizations with which she was affiliated as long as her health permitted. The survivors, besides her husband, are one daughter, Mrs Myron Waldo, of this city; a sister, Mrs Ernest Rogers of Fonda; two brothers, William and Daniel Taylor of this city; two grandsons, one granddaughter, four great-grandchildren and one nephew. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 3 at the family home. The Rev Frank Jay Reid will officiate. Interment will be in Ferndale Cemetery.

rther info regarding Izella Stella, Izel, etc. Mason Brown. (I am widow of a Brown relative.) Found Izella married Robert Hudson Reid who served time in San Quentin for Obtaining money for fradulent purposes. She died in the NY Prilgrim State Hospital age 80 22 Dec 1941. Reid was also in the same hospital, but do not know his death date. He too was native of Nova Scotia! Bina Verrault died in Tonapah NV destitute.
