Pennington ‘Lisle’ Barnard, the eldest, was a
brakeman for the railroad who married Olive Bernice Pigman, the daughter of
Claudius Pigman Jr & Lora S Elliott.

Services Are Set For Lisle Barnard
Graveside services for Lisle Barnard, former Marshalltown resident, will be held at 2 pm Thursday at the Eldora Cemetery. Rev W R Ehlert, Eldorda Methodist pastor, will officiate. Mr Barnard, 54, died at his home in Los Angeles, Calif, May 16. He had moved from Marshalltown about seven years ago. Surviving are three children, seven brothers and sisters and one half-brother. Among them are Mrs Edward Rohde, 114 North Eleventh Avenue; Gibson Barnard, 216 Young Street, and Mrs May Cobb, Eldora.

Greenwald, the son of Charles Greenwald & Mary Heer.
