John Hendricks & Sarah Hegeman

Sarah Catherine Hegeman was the daughter of Peter Johnson Hegeman Sr & Catherine Allen born in 1851 at Mayfield, NY.  She married John Howard Hendricks in 1874 at Sparta, WI where her family had relocated, and they had 4 children.  

Sarah died in 1939; he died in 1922; and they are buried at the Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery in Illinois.

John H Hendricks Summoned By Death

John H Hendricks passed away this morning at 11 o'clock at the family home, 1568 Washington Street, after an illness of one week's duration.  He was born at Chippewa Falls, Wis, June 29, sixty-eight years ago and had resided in Dubuque for the past twenty years.  He was a member of the First church of Christ Scientists and the Dubuque Camp Modern Woodmen.  Mr Hendricks is survived by his widow, one son, Ray W Hendricks of Maywood, Ill, and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the residence Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. The body will later be shipped to Maywood, Ill for burial.
