Susan Mary Duncan was born in 1881 at Paradise, IA to Joseph Porter Duncan & Hannah Maria Schouten. She married William Jay Scott, the son of David G Scott & Jane Felts and had 2 children - Ethyl & Ira. 

Susan died in 1958, William in 1966 - Susan so looks like her mother Hannah

Of their children, Ethyl Felts Scott married twice - first to Richard Wessel, the son of George Wessel & Mary Krueger, then Wright Raymond Catlow, the son of Joseph G Catlow & Clarissa Whitney.

Richard "Dick" Wessel, son of Mrs Mary Wessel of Barrington, and widely known in and around the Barrington area and Arlington Heights where he was employed by Paddock Publications, died unexpectedly last Saturday morning at the Elmhurst hospital following an attack of apoplexy. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Danielsen & Willmering Chapel. Rites were conducted by Rev George P Ellerbrake, pastor of St Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery with the following pallbearers: J E Wichman, E F Wichman Jr, Burton Hoffman, Earl Wessel, urban TeKamp and Lloyd Graham. Mr Wessel bowled Friday night at the Ten Pin Alleys. After returning to his home in Arlington Heights, early Saturday morning he suddenly became ill and was rushed to the Elmhurst hospital werhe he died around noon. "Dick" was born in Barrington on February 20, 1900. After attending schools, he started work with the Barrington Review where he learned the printer's trade. He was married to Miss Ethel Scott, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Scott of Barrington, on June 30, 1924. Later he was employed with the Arlington Heights paper where he had worked as a linotype operator of the past 17 years. Bowling was his favorite sport and he gained a wide acquaintanceship in those circles, blowing on alleys at Barrington, Palatine and Arlington Heights. He and his wife had been continuous residents of Barrington until a few years ago when they moved to the Heights so that he could be near his work. Mr Wessel is survived by his wife and mother. He was preceded in death by his father George. Ed Wessel, an uncle from Hebron, Neb and Corporal Everett Martin, a cousin from Oklahoma City, Okla, as well as other relatives and friends from Kenosha, Elgin, Chicago, Arlington Heights, Palatine, Round Lake, Waukegan, Fox River Grove and Dundee, attended services.

Ira Eugene Scott married Jean Katherine Cowie, the daughter of James Cowie & Jean Walker and had 4 children - Marion, Marilyn, Barbara & Raymond.

Jean died in 1955 and later, Ira married Pearl Louise Johnson, the daughter of Gustave Johnson & Emma Senkel.
