Bertha was the sister of Elmer from the last post and daughter of Elmer Eli Boyce & Minnie Ann Tunnard. She married Charles Arnold Bloodgood, the son of Charles Morgan Bloodgood & Minnie Gertrude Warx. Together they had 3 children - Morgan, Justin & Gertrude.

Funeral services for
Charles A Bloodgood, 57, of Glenmont, who died Friday at Albany Hospital, will
be at 2 pm tomorrow at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar. The
Rev Vernon O Nagle of Catskill Reformed Church will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Scotia. Mr
Bloodgood was a foreman at the Albany Sand and Supply Company. He was a member
of Schuyler Lodge, F and AM and the Bethlehem Grange. Survivors include his
wife, the former Bertha Boyce; his mother, Mrs Minnie A Bloodgood, Scotia; two
sons, Morgan E and J Arnold Bloodgood, Glenmont; a daughter, Mrs Gertrude Wood,
College Park, Md, and a brother, Elmer D Bloodgood, Scotia.

Bertha Jane Bloodgood, widow of Charles A Bloodgood, died yesterday morning at
Jonesville. She had been employed as housekeeper for Dr J R MacElroy,
Jonesville, the past two years. Mrs Bloodgood was born Mar 30, 1893, in New
York State. She was a member of the Bethlehem Reform Church, a member of the
Order of Eastern Star, Delmar, and a member of the Bethlehem Grange. Survivors
are two sons, Morgan E Bloodgood, Ballston Spa, and J Arnold Bloodgood,
Glenmont; one daughter, Mrs William Wood, College Park, Md; one brother, Elmer
J Boyce, Detroit, Mich, and five grandchildren. Funeral service will be
conducted at 2 pm Saturday at the Wheeler Funeral Home, and burial will be in
the Parkview Cemetery, Scotia. The funeral home will be open Friday night.
