Hugh Chesney

Hugh Ross Chesney, the son of James A Chesney & Lula Haggit, was born in Tuckersmith, Ontario and his family relocated to the United States after 1921. 

In 1934, Hugh married Helen Beatrice Trombley – the daughter of James David Tombley & Cleo Manning and a descendant of Hezekiah Rogers Jr & Hannah Vincent.

Services for Hugh R Chesney, 28294 West Jefferson, Riverview, were Saturday at the Ralph W Ridge Funeral Home, Trenton, followed by interment at Ferndale Cemetery, Riverview. Survivors include his wife, Helen; son, Terry; Parents, Mr and Mrs James Chesney; and brothers, John and Don. Mr Chesney died Dec 16 at Riverside Osteopathic Hospital, Trenton. He was born Aug 28, 1913 in Canada. He was a safety director at Pennwalt Corporation and was a member of the Pennsalt Club.
