Alexander M Cochrane

Alexander M Cochrane Sr & Loretta Bressette were the proud parents of Alexander M Cochrane Jr, born 1929 in Worcester, MA. 

Alex Jr was painter who met and married Elaine Ann Gibbings in 1949.  Elaine was the daughter of Leslie Gibbings & Marie Cote and via her mother's line, it traces back to the Vincent clan via the Rosekrans to Capt Benj Rosekrans & Phebe Vincent.

Alexander M Cochrane, 48, of 75 Albert Ave, Indian Orchard, self-employed painting contractor, died Sunday in Mercy Hospital. Born in Worcester, he lived here most of his life and was a Navy Veteran of World War II and a member of the Springfield Italian-American Club. He leaves his wife, Elaine (Gibbings) Cochrane; a son, Thomas J of Springfield; a daughter, Diane of Springfield; and his stepfather, Harold Martin of Springfield. The funeral will be Wednesday at Bryon's Allen Street Funeral Home and in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church with burial in St Michael's Cemetery.

Elaine died in 1997, their daughter Diane in 2002
