Charles C Kupras is
another fella who married into our line via a Gibbings girl.
Charles married Louise
Maire Gibbins, daughter of Leslie Gibbings & Marie Cote, sister to Elaine
in the last post.
Charles was the son of
Anthony & Mary Kupras from New Jersey which means records are sketchy –ugg –
however, thanks to a posting by Mark Wing on Ancestry, I have his obit.
Unknown Paper, Jul 1955Charles C Kupras, 39, of 27 Russell St died at the Holyoke Soldiers' Home this morning after a short illness. He was the owner of the Charles Kupras Trucking concern. Besides his wife, Louise (Gibbings) Kupras, formerly from Springfield, he leaves his parents, Mr and Mrs Anthony Kupras of this town; two sons, Charles C Jr, and Raymond John; one brother, Joseph of this town and one sister, Miss Jennie Kupras of Boston. Mr Kupras was a veteran of World War II. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 8:15 from the Czelusniak Funeral Home, followed by a solemn requiem high mass in Holy Rosary Church at 9. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are from 2 tomorrow afternoon until the time of funeral.
