Gladys Hanneman (nee Beach)

Gladys Wells Beach was born in 1916 at St Paul, MN to Marion Wilbur Beach & Lillian May Wells. She married R George Hanneman, the son of Rudolph Carl Hanneman & Caroline Johanne Bach and a well known gentleman in the Wolcott area who owned a men's wear shop.  It's the Beach line via the Peck family that traces back to Joseph Peck & Phebe Vincent.

Unfortunately, Gladys died at the age of 33 leaving behind her husband and a 9 year old child.

Mrs Hanneman, Wolcott, Dies - Stroke Fatal to Well Known Woman

Mrs Gladys Wells Beach Hanneman, 33, wife of R George Hanneman, well known Wolcott business man, died in the Clifton Springs Sanatorium Tuesday. She had been confined in the sanatorium since she suffered a stroke at her home in Wolcott Nov 14. She and Mr Hanneman, who is owner of the Men's Wear Shop in Wolcott, were married in Fulton, Sept 27, 1938. She was a member of the Wolcott Presbyterian Church and a leader in Brownie Troop No 29. Mrs Hanneman was born in St Paul, Minn, Feb 23, 1916, the daughter of the late Marion Beach and Mrs Beach. Besides her husband and mother, the latter now residing in Wolcott, she is survived by a daughter, Mary Lou, 9; an uncle, Wilbur Wells of Wolcott; two aunts, Laura Wells and May Wells, both of Wolcott, and a great aunt, Mrs Maud Keeley of Syracuse. The funeral will be held from the Robertson Funeral Home at 2 pm Friday with Rev George Wolfe Officiating. Burial will be in Glenside Cemetery
