So my last post resolved the last name of Mary 'Josephine' as VanSanford (aka VanSantford, VanSantvoord) who married our Josiah Rosekrans, the son of Benjamin Rosekrans & Mary VanSantvoord out of Halfmoon, NY.
Josiah & Josephine were married around 1870 and together they had 5 children - Josephine 'Gertrude', Margaret M, Lorenzo Josiah, Mary E & Florence Rose.
Two girls might have died young.
Margaret was found on the 1875 census with her family but she was not on the 1880 census. In 1880, Mary E was on the census with the family but she was not on the 1900 census (couldn't find a 1892 census) - and neither are mentioned in the obits for the family.
