She first married a printer named Lee Carl Barrows and they had a son DeVere Kenneth Barrows.
Lucille went on to marry Edward John Rohde, the son of Charles Rohde & Amelia Dittman; they divorced in 1943.
In 1955, Lucille married Ralph William Rodgers, the son of William Rodgers & Margaret Myers.

Lee Carl Barrows, 62, 307 Sharon Ave., died Friday at the Evangelical Hospital where he had been taken earlier in the day. He was born September 10, 1905, in Marshalltown, the son of William and Myrtle Barrows. He received his education in the Marshalltown schools. He was married December 22, 1935 to Esther M. Mikochl. He was employed at Marshall Printing Co., before moving to Des Moines in 1949. A Compostier, he was employed by the Register and Tribune from 1949 to 1963, when ill health forced his retirement. Mr. Barrows was a veteran of World War II, serving for two and one-half years in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and the Typographical Union. He is survived by his widow; a son, Kenneth, Norwalk, Calif.; one grandson, Gary; and a granddaughter, Linda. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Pursel-Davis Chapel, the Rev. William Carson in charge. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Lucille B. Rodgers 87,
Marshall County Care Facility formerly of 124 E. Anson St. died Friday at the
care facility. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Pursel-Davis
funeral home. The Rev. Dean M. Coffey of Victory Community Church will officiate.
Burial will be in the Eldora Cemetery. Eldora, Iowa. Friends may call from 5 to
9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. She
was born to Fred and Ida (Brinkerhoff) Barnard on Dec 20, 1906, at
Marshalltown. She was raised and educated in Marshalltown. On June 16, 1929 she
married Lee Carl Barrows in Marshalltown, Iowa. They had one son together
Kenneth Barrows. She then married Ralph W. Rodgers on Feb. 3, 1951. She was a
member of Marshall Rebekah Lodge #40. Survivors include a son Kenneth Barrows,
Springfield Mo. two grandchildren; three great grandchildren, a brother Laverne
Barnard of Oklahoma. A sister May Pearl Ibach, Eldora, died Sunday July 25.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Pursel-Davis Chapel for Ralph Rodgers, 82, formerly of 124 East Anson St. who died Saturday evening at Marshalltown Community Hospital. The Rev. Colin Keyes will be in charge of the services and burial will be in the Eldora Cemetery. Mr. Rodgers was born Feb. 15, 1893 in Blakeville , Black Hawk , a son of William and Margaret (Myers) Rodgers. He was reared and educated in Bennington Township, Black hawk County and worked in the cement mills in Mason City. He came to Marshalltown in 1949 and worked for Lennox Industries until his retirement in 1961. Mr. Rodgers was confirmed in the Baptist Church and transferred to St. Paul's Episcopal Church here. Survivors include his widow, Lucille a step-son Kenneth Barrows, Norwalk, Calif., a daughter Mrs. Edward (Viola) Griefnow, Palmdale Calif.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters. Friends may call at the Pursel Davis Funeral Home.
