Battle Creek Enquirer
& Evening News, 13 Oct 1922
Mrs Lottie G Smith died at her home, 410 Lake Avenue, this morning at 11:45 o'clock. She was 27 years old and leaves her husband, Carl D Smith, and one daughter, Vida Mae Virginia Smith, at home; also her father Seeley Swartwout of this city; and one brother, Una Swartwout of Charlotte. Mrs Smith was a member of the Women's League. Funeral announcements will be made later.
Here's the rub. I couldn't find anything on VidaMae because I was searching for her name as Vida Mae as it was written in the obit, 2 words - it wasn't until I updated the field to one word that suddenly records appeared. It's a strange glitch to have occurred but there you have it - I found the daughter and linked her up to her parents on Find a Grave ~~ another little family put together!
