10 Children!

So on my mother’s side of the tree, it will take a few lifetimes to finish off the research because they bred like rabbits! 15 kids, had 15 kids who had 15 kids - no joke.

But that phenomenon isn't so common in the Vincent line - Emeretta Smith had 13 children and in this story we have 10 but it was between 2 women.

Harry Milton Teall, the son of Charles G Teall & Mary Alexander was born in Ypsilanit, MI. His WWII registration shows that he was 6’2, 160lbs, with black hair & brown eyes. 

A boat builder by trade, he married twice - Ellen Mannor & Viola Ganger – both with Vincent connections!
 The connection between the 2 women is the connection back to Hezekiah Rogers Jr & Hannah Vincent via the children of Joel P Smith & Esther L Haviland. Ellen’s mother was Adella Luella Smith while Viola’s mother Bertha, was Adella’s niece, the daughter of Ada Mae Smith.

He first married Ellen Mary Mannor, the daughter of Frank R Manner & Ada Leuella Smith. Ellen was married not once, not twice, but according to records found, six times! She had 3 children with Harry.

Harry’s second wife was Viola Ilene Ganger, the daughter of Dewey  Ganger & Bertha Andrews. Together they had 7 children.

Aransas Pass - Harry Milton Teall, 61, died at 7:30 pm, Monday in a local hospital after a short illness. A native of Michigan, he had lived here for 30 years.  He was a veteran of World War Two and was a boat builder. He is survived by three sons, Manuel, Ralph, Gordon Teall, all of Aransas Pass; three daughters, Mrs Ilene Pool, Mrs Linda Gilbreath, both of Aransas Pass, Mrs Betty Snay, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Thursday in the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery. Marshall Funeral Home of Aransas Pass.

Ellen Mary Mannor was born in 1913 at Jackson, MI and based on the records, she married William Wolf, Harry Milton Teall, Nantko Groenenberg, Mr Crossenberry, Earl Russell Anderson & Walter J Lato. After she left Harry, she returned to Michigan.  

Her daughter Vera Joyce Wolf died in 2013; and the three children with Harry were Charles Milton Teall, Betty Elaine Teall & Ronald M Teall. Charles & Ronald both died young while Betty died in 2003.

 Viola Ilene Ganger was born in 1931 at Michigan - quite the age difference between her and Harry when she married him at the age of 17!  Their 7 children were Manuel Glenn Teall, Bertha Ilene Teall, Ralph Edward Teall, Harold Ward Teall, Linkd Kay Teall, Gordon Grant Teall and Gerald LeRoy Teall.  Based on her death certificate, she died of complications from pregnancy.
