Audrey Smith was sister to Cecil from the last post and daughter of
Austin Smith & Lucy Porter.
She
married……..wait for it……..Cecil Roy Smith
What’s a researcher to do!?!
Work it out of course! Based on Arlene Smith-Lowe’s tree, Cecil
was the son of Clarence Hiram Smith & Leona Adrena Pyke and she worked it out
that Cecil’s line stems from a fella out of the United Kingdom – either England
or Scotland.
The pictures Arlene has attached to her tree had me flashing from Anne of Green Gables (Audrey on the left) to the end of the flappers (Cecil & Audrey on the right) - yeah I'm strange, but I'm ok with it - I love these old pictures!
