I am still a bit confused about lithography but this is the first Commercial Artist I have found in the family.
Karl J Cameron was born in Charlotteown, PEI to John E Cameron & Bertha 'Blanche' Riggs and attended the School of Practical Art in Boston .
Along the way, he met and married another islander by the name of Helen Douglas. It is possible they met via a common love of art as she was the manager of the Art Department at the Eastern Photo Engravers in Halifax.

Sadly, in 1946, they lost their 3 year old daughter in a drowning accident

Surviving are her husband and four daughters: Janet (Mrs. Malcolm MacDonald ), Winnipeg; Carol (Mrs. Derek Liddell ), Montreal; Paula (Mrs. Lawrence Montgomery ), Bridgetown, N.S. ; Anne, Toronto. Also a sister Beth (Mrs. Edgar Lannon ) Needham, Mass; and two brothers: Ralph of P.E.I , and Gordon, Vancouver and Georgetown. Funeral in Charlottetown. Interment in People's Cemetery.
