Bedford & Violet Langille

Violet Evelyn Vincent was born in 1920 to John Sidney Osborn Vincent & Mercy Mae Mooring.  She married Bedford Fulton Langille in 1938 and they had 8 children.

LANGILLE, Violet Evelyn - 80, Pugwash Junction, died Friday, November 17, 2000, in the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born on October 19, 1929, in Middleboro, she was the daughter of the late Osborne and Mercy (Mooring) Vincent. Her life revolved around her family. She enjoyed her flowers and feeding the birds. She was an avid bingo player. She lived in Medicine Hat, Alta for a short while, working in the Moose Lodge and the Greenhouses in Redcliff.  She is survived by sons, Alfred (wife Eunice), Redcliff, Alta.; Charles (wife Charlene), Pugwash Junction; Wilbert (wife Linda), Redcliff, Alta.; daughters, Carol Smith (Lloyd), Lamonte, Alta.; Betty Dobson (husband Donnie), Oxford; Marilyn Reeves-Chatfield (husband Eddie), Pugwash Junction; Joycelyn Yarrow (Andy), Pugwash Junction; daughter-in-law, Virginia, Pugwash Junction; 26 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Aubrey (Barb), Tatamagouche; Herrick (Lois), Logan (Connie), both of British Columbia; sisters, Audrey Vincent, Alberta; Myrtle Hatcher, Truro; Gladys Sleigh (Bill), Halifax; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bedford Fulton; son, Raymond David; a daughter in infancy; two infant grandchildren; brothers, Pearl, Earl, Clarence, Norman, Leaman; sisters, Lucille, Ella, Vera, Laura, Lena.  Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, all in Mundle's Funeral Home, Pugwash, Rev. Janet Travers officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
