Guilbault - Roehm


Charles Louis Guilbault married Elsie M Roehm. He was the son of Louis 'Edmund' Guilbault & Frances Folsom Armstrong from the previous blog; she was the daughter of William A Roehm & Agens M Smith. Charles & Elsie had 5 children - Robert, Charles, Clifford, Francis & Nancy.

Ontonagon - Charles Louis Guilbault, 69, Ontonagon, died Sunday morning at Ontonagon medical Care Facility. He was in ill health the past year. Born Oct 24, 1907, at Rockland, he attended Ontonagon area schools. On Feb 9, 1928 he was married to the former Elsie Roehm at Ontonagon. He was employed at the Hoerner-Waldorf paper mill until his retirement. Survivors include his widow; four sons, Robert, West Covina, Calif, Charles, Greenland, Clifford, Ontonagon, and Francis, St Henry, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs Ronald Penegor, Iron Mountain; 23 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Edmund, Ontonagon and three sisters, Mrs Fred Lavigne, Plainwell, Mrs Thomas O'Brien, Ontonagon and Mrs Louis Trevarrow, Flint. Allen Cane Funeral Home will open for visitation at 5 pm Tuesday. The rosary will be recited there at 8 pm Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev David Harris officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery.

His son Charles E Guilbault marrired Etta V Martin & had 3 children - Diane, David & William.

Greenland - Services for Charles Guilbault, 51, Greenland, who died Monday at St Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, Wis, after a lengthy illness, will take place Friday at 11 am. The Rev Joseph Carne will conduct the funeral at St Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Greenland. Burial will be in maple Grove Cemetery, Greenland. Allen Cane Funeral Home, Ontonagon, will open for visitation Thursday at 5 pm. A prayer service will be held there at 7:30 pm Thursday. Mr Guilbault was born April 14, 1931 at Ontonagon. He graduated from Ontonagon Area High School in 1949. On June 16, 1951, he was married to the former Etta Martin of Greenland. He was employed by the Dairy Association and later was a security guard for White Pine Copper Co. He was a member of St Peter and Paul Catholic Church; helped organize the Little League program; was a member and chief many years of the Greenland Township Fire Department; a member of the Ontonagon County Labor Day Committee; and president of the Maple Grove Cemetery Association. His father, Louis, preceded him in death. Surviving are his widow; two sons, William, Wiesbaden, Germany, and David, at home; a daughter, Mrs Harold (Dianne) Reichardt, Valparaiso, Ind; five grandchildren; his mother, Elsie Guilbault, Greenland; three brothers, Robert, West Covina, Calif; Francis, St Henry, Ohio, and Clifford, Ontonagon; and one sister, Mrs Ronald (Nancy) Penegor, Iron Mountain.
