Armstrong - Simmons

James Adelbert Armstrong, the youngest son of Allen Armstrong & Caroline Peck was born in New York and was the only one to leave New York.

By 1887 he was settled in Ontonagon, Michigan and married to girl named Julia Simmons, the daughter of English father Edmund Simmons & Irish mother Mary Clifford.

According to details on James' burial memorial at Find A Grave, he and Julia had 10 children - I have found 6. There are gaps where other children could have been born but the 6 found are - Frances, Caroline, Mary, Cecilia, James Jr & Allen.
I have to thank great-granddaughter Nancy for sharing the following pictures and obits on Ancestry - they give life to the vital records found ~~ thank you, thank you!
