Wiliam E Faunce was the oldest of Bradley E Faunce & Margaret Cooper. 

William was a blacksmith and married a girl named Susan and had a girl named Nellie.

Mrs W E Faunce Passes Away At Home In this City
Mrs Susan S Faunce, widow of William E Faunce, passed away Tuesday afternoon at five o'clock at her home, 109 West Green Street, after an illness of one weeks. Mrs Faunce was a resident of Olean since early childhood. She was a member of St Stephen's Episcopal Church and the Protected Home Circle. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs Maude F Holmes, this city; three grandchildren, Mrs Andrew Kaiser Jr, this city; Bradley Yaw, Buffalo; Harry Yaw, Los Angeles, Calif, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the family residence, Friday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock. The Very Rev Joseph Groves, rector of St Stephen's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount View Cemetery.

Mrs M F Holmes Funeral Rites Held On Sunday

Funeral services for the late Mrs Maude Faunce Holmes were held at the family residence on West Green Street, Sunday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock. The Very Rev Jospeh Groves, rector of St Stephen's Episcopal Church officiated.  Burial was in the family plot in Mount View Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Clayton Marshall, henry E Hall, William Ryan, Dr Loren M Kaiser, Walter E Kaiser and Edward Huff. Those attending from out of town were: Mrs Helen Yaw, Miss Geraldine Yaw, Mr and Mrs Daniel Ford, Jay McMahon, Mrs Clara Ferry, and Mrs Amelia Barrett, Buffalo.

Frank E Yaw died at his home on South Union Street Saturday morning of a complication of diseases. He was nearly 31 years of age. Mr Yaw was a well know glass blower and a member of the Glass Blowers' Union. He had been ill about three years. He is survived by his father and mother, two brothers, a wife and three small children. The funeral was held Tuesday.

Services will be held from the family residence at 142 Rhode Island Street Friday evening at 8 o'clock.  Interment will be made in Olean.

LITTLE VALLEY - Bradley T Yaw, of 115 Thompson Ave, Little Valley, died Friday (March 30, 1962) at 9 am at his residence after an extended. He was born in Olean, July 19, 1898, and was a machinist for Clark Bros Co, Olean for 17 years, and had previously lived in Buffalo, moving to Little Valley in Sept 1958 from Olean. Mr yaw served as an announcer for Radio Station WEBR, Buffalo, for 10 years, and was Little Valley's Youth Recreation director the past three years. he was a son of the late Frank Yaw and Maude Faunce Yaw. He married the former Reva Shaw, June 24, 1944. Surviving in addition to his widow are a son, Sheldon yaw of Morris Plains, NJ; a daughter, Mrs Susan Alexander of Buffalo; two grandsons and a granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs Andrew Kaiser of Olean. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday (April 2, 1962) at the Van Rensselaer Funeral Home, Little Valley, by the Rev William P Sipe, retired Methodist pastor of Little Valley; and burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Little Valley. Visitation is being held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday (March 31 and April 1, 1962).


Harry D Yaw Dies In California
Harry D Yaw died unexpectedly Sunday morning (December 28, 1947) at his home, 10628 Cushdon Avenue, Los Angeles, Calif. He was forty-six years of age. Mr Yaw was formerly with the Prudential Life Insurance Company, Olean. He went to California in 1924, where he became associated with the Occidental Life Insurance Company. He held a position with that company at the time of his death. Mr yaw married to former Miss Margaret Braunschweiger, of Olean and Wellsville, and they celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary December 2. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, William Faunce Yaw, Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs Andrew Kaiser, Jr, Olean; and a brother, Bradley T Yaw, Olean. He was the grandson of the late Mr and Mrs William Faunce,Olean. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (December 31, 1947) and burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Los Angeles.

Fort Myers Beach Fla - Andrew D Kaiser, 89, of Fort Myers Beach, a former resident of Olean, NY, died Wednesday (July 20, 1983) in Cape Coral Hospital. Born Nov 15, 1893, in New Jersey, he was a son of Andrew and Priscilla Brown Kaiser, and was married to the former Myrtie Yaw, who survives. A Veteran of World War I, Mr Kaiser had served in the Army. He had been employed as a postal clerk with the US Postal Department prior to his retirement in 1958 and moving to Fort Myers Beach. Surviving besides his widow, is a niece, Jeanette yaw of New Jersey. A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Friday (July 22, 1983) in St Raphael's Episcopal Church, Fort Myers. The Very Rev C A Comfort was celebrant. Arrangements were under direction of the Metz Funeral Home of Cape Coral. Memorials may be made to St Raphaels's Episcopal Church, Fort Myers Beach, Fla. 33931
