Mary Elizabeth Foster was the daughter of Porter Foster & Sarah Eliza Rogers and in 1895, she married Lee Norton Ticknor.  Lee was the son of Elisha H Ticknor & Ruth A Turner.  Lee & Mary had 2 children, Kenneth & Marjorie but Ken died a little over 3 months of age.

TICKNOR - Mary Elizabeth Ticknor, age 83, formerly of 311 Pine St, passed away in a local hospital Sunday, October 21.  Mrs Ticknor had resided in Whatcom County for the past 40 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving relatives include one daughter, Mrs Marjorie Baughman of Concrete, one granddaughter, Mrs Anne Valum of Bellingham, 4 great grandchildren, one brother and three sisters in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. The remains rest at the Jones Harlow-Hollingsworth Funeral Home.

Their daughter Marjorie Evelyn Ticknor married Cleo Carnie Baughman, the son of David Baughman & Matilda Crabtree and they had one child, Beverly Anne Baughman.
