Lois Adelaide Perry was the daughter of
Norman James Perry Sr & Adelaide Devoe and she married Delos Marcus Wood, the son of Hiram C Wood & Delphine A Stillwell; together they had 5 children: Irma, Arlene, Norma, Bonnie & Carol.

Mrs D M Wood Dies,
Services On Saturday
Mrs D M Wood, 64, died
Tuesday at her home at 411 First Street, Nekoosa, Following a lingering
illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:15 Saturday afternoon at the
Nekoosa Congregational Church with the Rev C A O'Neill officiating. Burial will
be in the Plainfield Cemetery. Mrs Wood, whose maiden name was Lois Perry, was
born in Plainfield on October 15, 1883, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Norman
Perry, and married Mr Wood there November 7, 1906. Surviving are her husband;
four daughters, Mrs Irving Hinkle, Mrs George Gjertsen, Bonnie Wood and Mrs
Donald Mullenix. all of Nekoosa; a step-sister, Mrs Dora Marshall, Westfield
and five grandchildren. One daughter Irma, a brother Norman Perry and a
step-brother, Samuel Clark, preceded her in death. The body will be taken to
the H H Voss residence Friday morning where friends may call until time of
services.

Funeral Services Held Here For D. M. Wood, Former Resident
Funeral services were held here at the Methodist church for Delos M. Wood of Nekoosa, a former resident of this vicinity, who died at the home of his daughter in Nekoosa Tuesday morning of last week, after an illness of two weeks. Delos Wood was born at Plainfield Aug. 5, 1867, and was 82 yrs. of age at the time of his death. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram C. Wood. He grew to manhood in this vicinity and in Dec. 1886, he was united in marriage to Miss Florence Goult of Plainfield, who died in 1904. Two years later he was married to Lois Perry, who died in 1947. Mr. Wood engaged in farming in the Plainfield area and about 26 years ago moved to Nekoosa, where he was employed by the Nekoosa-Edwards Paper Co. for a year and later by the Walker-Gwin Co. For about eight years he was street commissioner of Nekoosa. He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Geo. Gjertsen, Mrs. Norma Hinkle and Mrs. Donald Mullenix, of Nekoosa and Mrs. Harry Young of Rudolph; two brothers, Warren and Clarence Wood of Helena, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Delia Waterman of Plainfield and Mrs. Marie Bound of Portland, Ore.; also six grandchildren. J. A. Wood, Clyde and Gyle Ellis, Harry, George and Howard Potton, cousins of the deceased, acted as pallbearers. The floral offerings were many and beautiful. The Rev. Chas. A. Briggs officiated at the funeral and burial was made in the Plainfield cemetery.
