Phoebe Rogers was another daughter of Laban Rogers & Jane Sincerbox and she married Thomas Wright, the son of Lewis Wright & Zilah Anderson.  Together they had - wait for it - like I said before it's not a common occurrence in the Vincent lines - they had 14 - 14 - children!!

The children were - Charles L, Homer A, Caroline R, Susan A, Jane, Mary E, Lewis T, Alice Z, John R, Rhuemma, Arthur, Augusta & twins Pauline & Josephine - Josephine died just under 2 years of age.

Phoebe died 4 years after husband and during their grief of his death, the family had to struggle with a court case over the handling of his sister's estate.

A Double Funeral
Held Thursday at Home of Late Thomas Wright in Town of LaGrange
A double funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the home of the late Thomas Wright in the town of LaGrange near Arthursburg. There were services over the bodies of Mr Wright, who dropped dead of heart disease on the morning of November 20 and his sister, Mrs Ann Elizabeth Hall, who died in this city on the afternoon of the same day. The caskets were near each other in the parlor and were alike in every detail. Rev Mr Wilcox, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Freedom Plains, officiated, assisted by Rev S Wright Butler of this city. the bearers were friends of the family and the same bearers carried both bodies. In the funeral procession, the bearers were side by side. the interment of Mrs Hall was in the cemetery at LaGrangeville. The other bearers waited there until the burial service was over when the procession continued on to Freedom Plains where Mr Wright was buried. The Selfridge undertaking establishment had charge of the arrangements for Mrs Halls' burial and John F Eighmie for the burial of Mr Wright.

As mentioned in the obit, Thomas' sister died hours after he did.  The problem was that he was named the executor of her estate as she had been deemed incompetent and this lead to a surrogate case to decided how to dispose of her property.
