Richard was the owner/operator of a direct mail circulation company and Dorothy worked as a music teacher. Richard died in 1987.

Louise H Ray, the daughter of Thomas R Ray & Estella M Flagler married Carl J Easton in 1937 at Clifton Park, NY.
They are buried at the Clifton Park Baptist Cemetery in NY.

Easton of RD 4 Elnora died yesterday at his home after a long illness. Mr
Easton, a native of Esperance, had lived in Elnora 42 years. He was employed as
business administrator by the Shenendehowa Central School District 17 years,
retiring last July. Mr Easton was a member of the United Methodist Church of Cobleskill,
the Mohawk Grange of Elnora, the New York State Teachers Retirement System and
was a member of the original Board of Education of the Shenendehowa District.
He was also a charter member of the Capital Area Chapter of New York State
Association of School Business Officials. A graduate of Albany State
University, Mr Easton had taught in several other school system[s] before his
association with Shenendehowa District. Survivors include his widow, Mrs Louise
R East; a son, James C Easton of Elnora; his mother, Mrs Nellie Easton of
Esperance, and a brother, Kenneth W Easton of Scotia. An aunt and a niece also
survive. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Gordon C
Emerick Funeral Home, Clifton Park. The Rev James Meek, pastor of Clifton Park
Center Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Clifton Park Center
Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Clifton Park
Center Baptist Church.
