Walter Fredericks was
the son of Zinovi Fedkovich & Fedora Diagtarick and was born in Telekhany,
Belarus. The family immigrated through New York in 1909 and landed in Michigan.
Of the family, Walter was the only to westernize his surname.
He married into our
lines via Helen Aurellia Manning, the daughter of Frank G Manning &
Caroline A Jambeau ~~ via the Mannings to the Smiths, Helen’s line traces back
to Hezekiah Rogers Jr & Hannah Vincent.
Walter & Helen had 5 children – Frank, Kent, Kathleen, Doreen, and
Greg.

Walter (Jack) Fredericks, 68, of 11521 Garfield St, Riverview, a retired railroad conductor for the Detroit Toledo and Ironton Railroad Co, died Dec 23 at Wyandotte General Hospital. Mr Fredericks was buried at Ferndale Cemetery, Riverview, following services Dec 27 at Czopek Funeral Home, Wyandotte. He leaves his widow, Helen A; sons, Frank of Fairfield, Calif, Kent of Darien, Conn, and Greg of Houston, Teszs; daughters, Miss Kathleen and Miss Doreen Fredericks; one brother, George Fedkovich of Detroit; 14 grandchildren and one great grandson.
