Loss of a family

Serena Crawford’s obit describes her as a strong woman who loved her family deeply.  Where others may have cracked, God blessed her with fortitude.

Russell Ashford Crawford, the son of Samuel Ashford Crawford and Annie Mabel Vincent married Serena Grace Carter in 1936 and went on to have 5 children.  They lost little Madeline about a month after she was born.

Russell was a hard-working lumberman from the Cumberland area of Nova Scotia who died in a car crash in April of 1977.

But fate was not done with this little clan.
